Power‑upgrade works of the Salamonde II hydropower plant, a project valued in €200 million. The project included an underground cavern powerhouse, a tunnel-based hydraulic circuit, and auxiliary structures, equipped with a 204‑MW reversible generating unit. The intervention oversaw the construction of infrastructure that increased the site’s installed capacity fivefold, strengthening the national electricity generation system.
