Located on the slopes of Vila Nova de Gaia overlooking the city of Porto, the Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel rises from the historic Kopke Wine Cellars. The facilities underwent a full rehabilitation project and were adapted for hotel use while preserving the original architecture, including heritage‑protected façades and roofs. This has created an authentic concept with unique characteristics, maintaining the centuries‑old legacy of Kopke, the world’s oldest port wine brand.
The striking original façade and traditional rooftops were preserved. The hotel features 150 rooms of various types, including 10 suites, all with views over the Douro River, the city of Porto, and the Luís I Bridge. It offers two restaurants and three bars, including a wine bar, sky bar, and pool bar. The spa includes five treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy area, a panoramic sauna, and a Turkish bath with chromotherapy.
