Double‑circuit 400 kV very high‑voltage overhead line, with the extension of 35 km, between the Estremoz substation and the Alandroal Traction Substation. Initially associated with the Lisbon–Madrid high‑speed rail link, the infrastructure later assumed a strategic role in the Southern International Corridor, supporting the national railway development programme and the future Évora–Linha do Leste connection.
